China overtook the US as the world's largest auto market with sales close to 13.6 million, a 46% surge year over year.  According to China's business daily, Nissan Motor factory in central China is making cars almost 24x7, yet customers still need to wait 3 months for their cars to arrive at the dealership. All large foreign automobile manufacturers in China such as Nissan, Ford, Honda are running full capacity, with overtime and weekend shifts, but still can not deliver enough cards. Nissan is the number 1 Japanese auto manufacturers in China with last year's sales rising 39% to 756,000, outselling its competitors such as Toyota and Honda. In addition, Nissan is spending CNY 5B to expand its Hubei province plant and raise the production capacity from 430,000 to 600,000.
